What this is
TradeBook is the live book for trade work. First call, trade embalming, a down machine, a vault. You pick who gets the work. Cheapest is never auto-award.
This is not a family funeral-home finder. It is not a crew. The home and the vendor still do the work and still settle the job.
Your account
Use a real firm email or phone. Keep your bids and posts honest. Do not post photos you have no right to show. Job and equipment photos stay with that job or that log.
The book
A bid is an offer. An award is the home’s choice. We do not pick the winner by price.
Until the stores list TradeBook, open it in the browser at https://app.tradebook.co or the get page at https://app.tradebook.co/get.
Credentials
Vendors represent and warrant that they hold every license, registration, and permit their state requires for the work they bid, and that they carry insurance appropriate to it. The burden of holding, maintaining, and proving those credentials rests entirely with the vendor. Vendors agree to produce proof on request, including at the job site, and a home may decline the job if proof is not produced. TradeBook does not verify, confirm, endorse, or guarantee any vendor's licensing, insurance, or workmanship, and performs no background, credential, or fitness check of any kind. Any credential information shown on TradeBook is supplied by the vendor or reported by a home; TradeBook records it and does not adopt it. TradeBook is not a funeral establishment, does not supervise the work, and does not take custody of remains. Homes are responsible for satisfying themselves as to any vendor's credentials before releasing remains or authorizing work. Vendors indemnify TradeBook against claims arising from work they perform or credentials they misrepresent.
No-shows
If the home closes a paid job as no-show or cancelled, the payment is refunded to the home, including the book fee. There is no in-app dispute path. Chargebacks on TradeBook-processed card payments may be recovered from the vendor's payout.
The founder is also a vendor
TradeBook is run by TJ Standridge, who also operates an equipment repair business. That business bids equipment jobs on the book as an ordinary vendor, under the same sealed-bid rules as everyone else, and receives no information about other bids. TradeBook displays work and records bookings. It is not a party to any job, does not supervise the people performing or offering the work, and does not decide disputes about it, including on jobs Standridge Death Care Repair bid on. Concerns about a bid from that business: hello@tradebook.co and we show you the bid record.
